Beaded Jewelry
Adults and children interested in jewelry making can take
a beaded jewelry class. For example, The Yolo Basin Foundation in Woodland
California recently offered a class in beaded jewelry making as a fundraiser.
The class cost $75 and included tools and materials.
More elaborate pieces of beaded jewelry can be seen in art galleries.
Contemporary artists often show their work in galleries to gain a wider
audience. In addition, antique jewelry made of beads is also on exhibit.
Consumers whose interest is piqued by such exhibits can purchase some
of the beaded jewelry from the gallery. Jewelry is also available on
sale at retail stores and on the Internet. Of course, when purchasing
on the Internet consumers do not have the chance to see the jewelry
in a mirror, so make sure the vendor has a reasonable return policy.
